| JTC appeals for permanent settlement of KPs | | |

Jammu, July 30: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front J&K and displaced Hindu Youth Front Jagti Tenement Committee was held in which they made several deamnds.
Their demands include setting up of three townships in Kashmir valley for Kashmiri Pandits in the districts of Baramulla Srinagar and Anantnag.
They also demanded that six assembly seats and 3 parliamentary seats should be given to Kashmiri Pandits. One Assembly seat should be nominated for Kashmiri Pandits of Districts Anantnag and Kulgam, second assembly seat to be nominated for Kashmiri Pandits of Shopian and Pulwama.
3rd Assembly seat should be nominated for those Kashmiri Pandits who are hailing from district Srinagar, they said. |
