Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 1: After getting cold-shoulder response from the people to celebrate “Pakhwara” to mark the first anniversary of abrogation of Article 370, ‘discredited’ BJP leaders have pleaded before various organizations of RSS to help them to make the programme successful.
Credible sources said during the last one week, BJP has tried to mobilize peoples’ support to celebrate “Pakhwara” but party leaders were facing anger of the people. Residents of Jammu are annoyed with the BJP leaders because they have cheated the people on all issues. Instead of taking serious steps to solve day today problems of the people, BJP leaders always tried to divert attention of the common masses from basic problems by involving Pakistan in all problems.
During the last two months, Jammu residents are confronting with scarcity of drinking water and unprecedented power curtailment but BJP leaders never take these problems seriously. Instead of addressing genuine grievances of the people, BJP leaders raised irrelevant issues just to befool the people.
Credible sources said that wherever BJP leaders are going to seek support, people are taunting them in the name of Pakistan. On the condition of anonymity, a BJP leader regretted that instead of solving day today 's problems of the people, top leadership was trying to divert attention of the masses. BJP has announced to celebrate the first anniversary of abrogation of Article 370 and bi-furcation of the erstwhile state of J&K into two Union Territories (UTs) in a big way.
The 15-day celebrations will be held from August 5 to 20 and during this period the party will organize various programmes across the UTs of J&K and Ladakh.
Top leadership has impressed upon all the BJP leaders to ensure that the ‘Pakhwara’ would be celebrated like a festival in every nook and corner of the region. The party has already appealed to all the citizens to illuminate their houses, chowks and prominent buildings in their areas with “DeepMala” in the evening of August 5.
