ABRSM media workshop concluded | | | Early Times Report
New Delhi, Aug 9: 'At present the country is passing through a period of change and transition, in such a situation, teachers should not sit idle and should think above their professional duties to take part in literary and intellectual activities through the media to spread the right perspective in India. This was stated by Vetran journalist, DD News Anchor and a Writer Ashok Srivastava in his address on the topic 'Electronic Media' on the concluding day of the three-day online media workshop of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM). He further said that Teachers should be a role models for the present generation and this cannot be done by only teaching in the classroom, instead Teachers need to be well-versed about the wrong narratives being set up in the country and should work to curb the wrong narratives. The Media workshop was inaugurated by veteran journalist and Editor of ‘Organizer’ Prafulla Ketkar on 6th of August. He was the main speaker in the inaugural session. Ketkar emphasized that Teachers are the most elite Section of the society and must contribute in print media to counter the intellectual war being waged by some vested interest writers in India. |
