Jammu, Aug 9: Former Minister and veteran leader Thakur Randhir Singh has welcomed the statement of Defence minister Rajnath Singh, who said that India is now ready for the big push to the Atma nirbhar or self-dependent initiative announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Singh said Ministry of Defence will introduce import embargo on 101 items to boost indigenisation of defence production this is a big step towards self-reliance in defence.
