| 2 drug peddlers held | | |

Rajouri, Aug 13: Manjakote Police of district Rajouri on Thursday foiled a drugs smuggling bid arresting two peddlers. Police said that a team of Manjakote police station headed by Station House Officer Manjakote Pankaj Sharma on patrolling duty at Katarmal Morh of Manjakote when two persons were found in suspicious condition who tried to fled away after seeing cops.
He said that the police party intercepted and apprehended both persons and on their search, 80 grams of Charas like substance was recovered from them. A case in FIR No 125/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in Manjakote police station and investigation into the matter is going on. |
