| Judicial probe in mysterious missing of three Rajouri boys demanded | | |  Early Times Report
Rajouri, Aug 13 : Elected Panchayti Raj Leaders (PRIs) and civil society members on Thursday called upon officers of Rajouric Administration and called for a judicial probe in mysterious missing of three boys of Rajouri who went Shopian for labour work but are missing from last twenty five days. Deputation was headed by social activist Adv. Sayeed Manzoor Bukhari with others leaders and civil society members including Block President Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party and Sarpanch from Prori, Chowdhary Mir Hussain, Sarpanch Tarkassi Haji Hakam Din, Sarpanch Karhad Chowdhary Karam Din, Sarpanch Gakhrote-A Mohammad Farooq, Sarpanch Dhar Sakri Ajaz Ahmed, Sarpanch Charhan Haji Hussain Mohammad, Sarpanch Saldhar Chowdhary Shabir Ahmed, Sarpanch Palma Haji Alam Hussain and Ex Sarpanch Chambitrar Anwar Hussain. The members of deputation met officers of both civil administration and police and lodged their concern over the incident related to mysterious missing of three young men of Rajouri and respective social media reports of their alleged killing in an encounter in Shopian that took place on July 18.
The leaders called for a judicial probe by a sitting judge of a high court into the matter to ascertain all the facts and circumstances in which the three boys went missing abd any connection of their missing with Shopian encounter.
The officers assured the visiting leaders that the matter is under investigation on merits.
