| GGM Sc college celebrates International youth day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 13: On the occasion of International Youth day, NCC SW cadets of GGM Science college celebrated International Youth day on the theme ‘Engagement of Youth for Global Action’. The aim of the theme was to engage young minds while raising awareness regarding the cultural and legal issues besides AIDS and drug abuse. Due to COVID19, the celebrations were done online via different events like mask designing and paintings etc and other means.
More than 35 NCC girl cadets have actively participated in all these events . Keeping in mind that youth must be the catalyst to bring about the change under the grievous impact COVID has had on the jobs and education sector - impacting the youth directly, the NCC cadets have played their role very effectively for creating awareness among the public regarding drug abuse, AIDS and COVID 19.
