| AJKNPSEUF constitutes UT, distt level bodies | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 19: All J&K NPS Employees United Front (AJKNPSEUF) held a virtual meeting of its executive body members here today to discuss the course of action for further intensifying the pace of the agitation for restoration of Old Pension Scheme. On the occasion, all the stakeholders suggested to constitute bodies at different levels to strengthen the platform for agitation. Acting on the suggestions made, in the first phase a J&K Union Territory level body was constituted while some district presidents were also nominated by the executive body of the Front. Mohd Ashraf will be the UT President and Ashwani Sharma has been made as UT Chairman while Bunty Sharma, Mohd Rafiq Malik and Gulzar Ahmed Chopan were nominated as UT General Secretary, Senior Vice President and Vice Chairman respectively. Ajeet Singh and Raman Sharma will be the Vice Presidents while Surinder Kaith, Neeraj Raina, Govind Andotra will serve as Chief Advisor, Chief Organizer and Organizer respectively. Those who were nominated as District Presidents include KD Manhas (Jammu), Ram Krishan Singh (Ramban), Sushil Sharma (Reasi), Mohd Yasin (Doda), Atul Kumar (Udhampur), Imran Khan (Rajouri), Ravi Kundal (Kathua), Yasvir Khan (Poonch), Peer Zada Irshad (Gandarbal), Maqsood Hussain Mir (Baramulla), Shoket Ahmed Akhoon. |
