JAMMU, Aug 19: Demanding a probe into the communally sensitive video cases, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), urged the people to maintain communal brotherhood, peace and harmony. "The videos smell of a conspiracy from anti-national elements who failed in their designs to disturb peace in Jammu and Kashmir. We demand a probe into the incidents to unveil the plan," UDA spokesperson Rajiv Mahajan said. Condemning the incidents, he said, "We have to fight unitedly to defeat such anti-national elements who are playing in the hands of anti-national forces and triggering rift within the society." "All religions preach love and peace, respect for humanity. We need to maintain our brotherhood to defeat such elements," he said. He appealed to the people to maintain communal harmony and respect each other. "We will not allow anyone to disturb brotherhood and communal harmony in J&K which is like a bouquet where people irrespective of their religion live in peace and harmony," he said. "The society should isolate them as mischievous elements and not allow the religious brotherhood and peace to be disturbed at any cost," he added. He said that there was a dire need of unity, fraternity and religious harmony to jeopardize the conspiracies of enemies of the country. "All possible measures would be adopted for the provision of a peaceful atmosphere to the citizens and no one would be allowed to disturb the peace of the society," he said.
