The Father of Library Science, which is celebrated as National Librarians’ Day in India, the Department of Library & Information Science, University of Jammu organized National Level Online Quiz Competition on the theme, “Libraries: The Treasure House of Knowledge”, on 17th August 2020 by adhering the Social Distancing norms and other SOP conditions as under Covid-19
The quiz was open to all participants like students, scholars, teachers, library professionals, employees and alumni.
The quiz contained 25 questions and each question carried 2 marks. The pass percentage of qualifying the quiz was 60%. In all 541 participants, participated in the Online – quiz competition who were from different of Schools, Colleges, Universities, Institutes of both divisions of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, M.P., Delhi, Gwalior, Coimbatore, H.P, U.P, Kerala, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Kuppam ,Ghaziabad, Bengaluru, West Bengal, Mumbai, Madras, Assam, Chandigarh and Agra. About 6 participants a secured 100% while 29 participants achieved 96% and 428 participants achieved more than 60% and got qualified for online quiz. All the participants participated in the event with great enthusiasm and fervor. The E-Certificates were awarded to each participant who qualified the quiz as a mark of appreciation. |
