Jammu, Aug 19: Kapil Singh Media Coordinator and member Media Coordination Committee (JKPCC) Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee said after abrogation of special status of state, the status of common man has also degraded. The common man has no addressal in J&K public departments offices like District Police, District Commissioners, Municipal Corporations, Urban Department, Rural department, PHE , PDD, and all including Secteriate r not working properly for the public interests. Expressing his concern over delay is issuance of Domicile Certificates by the district administration, Congress leader said that long queues outside the office of Deputy Commissioner are indicative of the fact that nothing is working smoothly. He said those who are filling forms online and those who are depositing forms physically are all suffering. Kapil Singh said nothing much has changed in the lives of people post abrogation of special status. Earlier people had access to their political representations but on absence of a democratically elected government there's no place where people can register their grievances at. The corridors of powers he added are inaccessible to commoners and administration is lying defunct. |
