AAP criticises UT Admin for neglecting school education | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 22: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged that the school education sector has been facing total neglect within the J&K-LG administration & it's concerned responsible officials during ongoing Covid-19 restrictions. As per statement, the members of AAP said that though the Corona related healthcare is the top requirement of Govt but at the same time, disturbed school education also should have considered as per possible arrangements which seems missing within the J&K- LG administration where concerned Principal secretary seems active merely on Twitter & re-employed BOSE chairperson is in mute mode to defend herself from the day to day criticism, release added. Though Pvt. School teachers are putting their possible efforts to communicate the possible material to their students online despite the delayed monthly salaries but strength of such students is less than 20% & a major section of students including poor govt school students has no such access, because as on date, 75% children have no availability of smart phones, release added. Directorates of School Education could have been consulted for working on the minimum possibilities to engage the school children through possible ways including involving literate population & it's resources at door steps but nothing was done, release further added. |
