JAMMU, Aug 22: NSS Campus Units, University of Jammu, Jammu, today successfully concluded national level online quiz competition held on the occasion of 74th Independence Day. The quiz was open to all participants like NSS Volunteers, Students, Scholars, Teachers, Alumni, Parents etc. The quiz contained 15 questions and each question carried 2 marks. The pass percentage of qualifying the quiz was 75%. About 780 participants from different areas of India which included Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Digboi, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ranchi, Maharashtra, Kolkata, Mangalore, Assam, Dibrugarh, Jammu, Kashmir, Kargil, Himachal –Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh participated in online quiz competition. About 266 participants secured 100% while 28 participants achieved 93% and 22 participants achieved 75%. In all 670 participants got qualified for online quiz. The participants, who successfully qualified the quiz, were awarded with an appreciation digital certificate which was received by them on their e-mail. The online quiz was conducted under the supervision and guidance of Prof Neeru Sharma, Chairperson, NSS Campus Units, University of Jammu, Jammu and was coordinated by Dr Meghna Dhar, NSS Programme Officer, NSS Campus Units, University of Jammu, Jammu with Technical Support of Vikas Pandita, a Software Engineer, TCS ,Noida who is also a senior NSS volunteer of University of Jammu. |
