| AAP organizes plantation campaign "Green Jammu Kashmir" | | |

JAMMU, Aug 22: An initiative launched by Gopal Rai, leader of AAP and Cabinet Minister in Government of Delhi under the leadership of CM of Delhi and National Convenor AAP Arvind Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu & Kashmir unit started "Green Jammu Kashmir" plantation campaign to help reduce the problem of pollution.
AAP leaders Raj Kumar Nischal, Mehar Singh and Gurmeet Singh carried out the plantation drive (Green Jammu & Kashmir) along Jammu-Srinagar National Highway so that not only the area becomes aesthetically appealing but also healthier.
It is a great honour and pride to conduct such a noble cause for the people of J&K, said Mehar Singh, Gandhi Nagar Assembly Incharge AAP. Plantation is the only way to save the nature, our saints had also told us to plant trees as they are best friends of humans and only they can save us, said Raj Kumar Nischal, Coordinator AAP J&K.
The party volunteers will be organizing many more such drives to make Jammu & Kashmir a pollution free area, said Gurmeet Singh, social activist and AAP leader. |
