| Coronavirus Pandemic can't be fought alone but unitedly: TMF | | |

JAMMU, Aug 22: Reacting to WHO Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus remarks that the existing danger is not that of pandemic but lack of will to fight it unitedly, the Team Mask Force (TMF) said that same thing is happening in India as the central leadership of our country has not only left it up to different states to fight the deadly virus on their own.
In a press statement issued here today, Vijay Sharma, Rtd DC and Chairman TMF said that the central government is not worried about the lives of people rather it is trying to topple the non-BJP Governments in different states of the country. While it is also busy in preparing for ensuing elections in Bihar and West Bengal, said Vijay Sharma.
Sharma said that the call of WHO is not being understood by the government as it warrants to come close under a common banner for tackling the real and important issue of pandemic. The respective Governments both in states and centre are not in league and have their own way of dealing with the serious situation arising out of pandemic, he added. Sharma appealed to Lt Governor J&K to at least ensure that everyone in the administration gird up their loins and concentrate to overcome the crisis on priority basis and strict compliance of various SOPs and guidelines issued from time to time. |
