| Vice Chairperson KVIB chairs Monitoring Committee meet under SFURTI | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Aug 26: A meeting of Monitoring Committee under SFURTI was chaired by Vice Chairperson J&K Khadi Village and Industries Board (KVIB) here today at Sanat Ghar Bemina.
The meeting was attended by various stakeholders like Nodal Agency (NA), Implementing Agencies (IA), Technical Agency (TA) and other Executing Agencies (EA’s).
Vice chairperson Hina Bhat informed that Prime Minister is expected to electronically inaugurate two CFCs at Ranipora Anantnag and Rudbug Budgam shortly. The clusters are coming up with financial outlay of Rs 8.90 crores. The commissioning of these clusters besides adding to the income levels of associated workers will also raise the production. The CFCs shall have facilities like dyeing, calendaring, washing, packaging, etc. Besides, marketing support shall also be provided to associated workers. During the deliberations, decision for release of funds for construction of civil works of three Jammu based clusters and three Kashmir based clusters was also taken.
These six clusters are expected to come up in second half of 2020-21. Vice Chairperson asked all stakeholders to ensure that all the clusters come up in a time bound manner.
