Jodhamal student wins in international competition | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 3: Harmanjot Singh, a class 8 student of Jodhamal Public School has recently been selected for the Silicon valley code of honour by the prestigious White Hat organization, based in San Francisco, California, USA. After a rigorous process of 4 months, using various computer programming languages, Harmanjot Singh developed an app: RAKSHA – The Women Safety App. More than 1700 applicants from all over the World had participated in the Global Competition organized by White Hat Organization. The best 30 Apps were selected for Silicon Valley Code of Honour. RAKSHA app was one of the selected App for this honour. Harmanjot Singh is one of the very few students from Asia to get this honour. Google has released the App in Google Play Store for free. RAKSHA – The Women Safety App is compatible with both Android and IOS devices. Harmanjot is also one of the youngest certified kids in the World to become a White Hat certified Game Developer and certified Android/IOS App developer. The Management of Jodhamal Public School congratulated Harmanjot Singh on his achievement and whished luck for the future. |
