| GDC Vijaypur organizes National Level Online Short Story Writing Competition | | |

Vijaypur, Sept 3: GDC Vijaypur organized a National Level Online Short Story Writing Competition in Hindi Language under the patronship of Talat Pravez Rohella Commissioner/ Secretary HED UT of Jammu and Kashmir. The aim of the Competition was to spark off the creative energy of the students by providing them a platform to showcase their writing skills. Students from various Colleges and Universities of the country participated in the competition. The first position was secured by Poonam Sharma of BMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Jammu. The second position was shared by Bharti Devi of GDC Khour, Miswa Kousar of GDC Vijaypur and Sanjay Kumar of GDC Thathri. whereas the third position was shared by Vishal Gupta of GGM Science College Jammu and Hersha Rajput of MAM PG College Jammu. Miss Sonia Bhagat, Dept. of Hindi, GDC Vijaypur coordinated the event. The organising committee comprised of Dr. Shittal Sharma, Prof. Anil Bhagat and Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch. Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the College congratulated the participants and the organisers of the event. She further added that everyone has a story to tell, everyone is a writer; some are written in the books and some are confined to hearts so such events should be organized to ignite the hidden potential, creativity, novelity and passion of the students so that they become the writers of tomorrow. |
