| CF demands multi -story parking at TRC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 3: Citizen’s Forum senior members demanded the LG Manoj Sinah to construct multi story parking at TRC. They said that Jammu has been living peacefully through all difficult times of militancy as well as any communal problems. Jammu people have always shown brotherhood among all sections of people and respect for all religions. It is for the first time new leadership started with tinkering with religious places like converting Panjvaktar Mahadev Temple in to a Parking lot thus hurting the sentiments of public in general and devotees in particular. R K Chadha president of Citizen’s Forum said we fail to understand the JMC and JDA are more interested in earning money and giving benefits to blue eyed leaders by creating few available small open places in Jammu city in to commercial hubs which is already a concrete Jungle without a spec of open land. You can not locate a single tree to sit under it. Chadha further said why dont they create a large parking space in present Tourist Reception Center that is Dak Bunglow on Residency Road. A multi story parking with offices on the top.
