SAMBA, Sept 3: District Administration Samba, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria, today carried out an anti encroachment drive here at village Tapyal of Ghagwal tehsil and retrieved around 5 Kanal State land.
The anti encroachment team led by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ghagwal, Ram Kesh Sharma and comprising local Tehsildar, Raman Chalotra, SHO Kuldeep Raj besides other revenue and police officials dismantled the under construction sheds, concrete walls, Shuttering and other RCC pavements constructed on the state land.
Giving details, the SDM Ghagwal, informed 5 Kanal state land and a water body was being illegal encroached and a construction work was going on it, clandestinely.
However, as soon as the reports were received, immediate consequent action was ensured after due verification. During the two hour long anti encroachment drive the building constructed were completely razed to ground and FIR was registered against the accused land grabber(s).
District Administration Samba, in a series of consecutive anti encroachment drives in past one week, has retrieved state land measuring 100 Kanal at Birpur triple S plant, 510 Kanal at Arazi, Samba, 9 Kanal at Katli, Samba and 5 Kanal at Tapyal, Ghagwal in today’s drive.
