Kathua, Sept 3: The Congress has now come out against a false case filed by Kathua police against a journalist allegedly filed in the past.
Addressing the media, the Block Congress Committee President Ravindrpal Singh Neetu said that an attempt was made to suppress the journalist. “It is killing democracy. If the journalist does not show the truth to the society, then how will democracy run?
He said the journalist has been implicated in a false case under the conspiracy.”
“There should be a high level inquiry into the pressure of the police officers”, he said and demanded that the lieutenant governor’s administration should inquire into the matter.
