KISHTWAR, Sept 6: A meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Rehabar - Taleem Teachers Forum (JKRETTF) District Unit Kishtwar was held under the chairmanship of Forum District President Muhammad Hafeez Butt in which various issues of teachers and forum related were discussed.
As per the details available with Early Times, during the meeting forum members said that due to the vacant post of education officer in the remote area of education zone Marwah, Dachhan from the year 2018, the English lecturer has been given DDO powers but the maximum of adminstrative works are suffering due to the non availability of ZEO.
District President and others said that the area is cut off from the district headquarters due to snowfall for most of the year, which has caused severe hardships to the employees of the department. He said that due to lack of internet facilities in the area, most of the office work is carried out from the district headquarters. Forum members said that the V-sat internet facilities and reasonable staff should be provided so that employees and students do not face any more difficulties . In addition, other issues of the forum were also discussed in the meeting and further strengthened under the leadership of Forum Chairman Farooq Ahmed Tantray in Jammu Province. The District Unit congratulated the new Provincial President of the Forum for Jammu and nominated other officials and hoped that the team would continue to work for the betterment of teachers and students community of Jammu Province. In addition, the district unit nominated two members for the provincial body who were sent to the chairman and the provincial president for final approval. On this occasion, the district president instructed all the members to know the problems of teachers and try to resolve them and be serious about your duties in further improving the education system .UT Executive Member and Media Incharge Muzaffar Wani was present as the Chief Guest while District General Secretary Musharraf Shabbir Butt, Zonal President Kishtwar Fida Hussain, Zonal President Darbashala Majid Hussain, Senior Executive Member sohail-ur-Rehman, Mir Zaman, Abdul Qayoom, Jafar Hussain Dar, Muhammad Amin and others were present during the meeting.
