| NGFOA provincial level meeting held in Jammu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 11: A provincial level meeting of Non-Gazetted Forest Officers’ Association (NGFOA) Jammu held here today under the chairmanship of Provincial President Ravi Kumar.
In the meeting, various issues of Forest Department were discussed by association members. Speaking on the occasion, Provincial president, Ravi Kumar said that re-organization of Forest Department is very much important and association is taking up this demand with administration on top priority. He added that Dr Mohit Gerra PCCF (HOFF) is doing good efforts for re-organization of the Forest Department. Ravi Kumar said re-organization of the department will increase the scope of promotions of Non-Gazetted staff.
During the meeting, provincial president advised all the divisional presidents to ensure that genuine works of front line staff should be done on priority in each division. Association leaders who attended the meeting included R S Jasrotia Senior Vice President Jammu Province, Rakeshwar Singh Divisional President Jammu Forest Division, Ved Parkash Divisional President Udhampur Forest Division, Jamat Ali working president of Billawar Forest Division, Surjeet Singh Sumberia Ex-Divisional President Billawar Forest Division. |
