Jammu, Oct 7: A two-wheeler rider on Wednesday died on the spot after she was hit by a truck near Kaluchak in Gangyal.
Police said that at about 17:30 hours information was received that one truck coming from Bari Brahmana to Jammu and a scooty in the same direction when reached Kalu Chak, the truck driver could not control the speed and hit the two-wheeler rider. “The girl died on the spot,” police said and identified her as Sonia, wife of Vinod of Satra Morh, Pouni Chak, Akalpur. A dead body has been shifted to GMC Jammu. A case has been registered under relevant sections and investigation started, police said. |
