Jammu, Nov 2: Citizen’s Forum has welcomed the comprehensive Manasar Rejuvenation and development plan and demanded a similar plan for the growth and development of numerous heritage sites.
“We don't doubt your intentions but are apprehensive that again the Jammu region will be ignored as usually. It is amusing to hear that officers and stakeholders are working for bringing tourist spots of J&K on the world tourism map.
Not J&K, only Kashmir which is already number one in world class tourism destination but not Jammu. Officers have been enjoying the foreign traveling in the name of promotion of tourism of J&K but could not increase foreign tourist influx more than few thousands.
The Kashmir Leaders whenever asked to promote Jammu tourism, replied Jammu has nothing except one Raghunath Mandir”, Chadha said. |
