DC reviews implementation of JK health cards Insurance scheme | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, Nov 2: Deputy Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria today convened a meeting of medical and revenue officers to review the J&K health card (Insurance) Scheme implementation and measures to be taken therein, here at mini conference hall. J&K Health Insurance scheme provides for universal Health Insurance to all the residents of J&K Union Territory. Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jitender Mishra, Chief Planning Officer Sukhleen Kour, Chief Medical Officer Rajinder Samyal besides Tehsildar's and Block Medical Officers of district Samba attended the meeting. The Deputy Commissioner, while taking the review of the status of JK Health Card (Insurance) scheme, was informed that 81 CSS centers are active in Samba and 84,000 registrations have been recorded. The DC directed the concerned officers to organize camps at different locations for maximizing the ambit of the Health Card Scheme. During the meeting, it was informed that random sampling for Covid-19 shall also be carried out in each Block under a team headed by tehsildar and concerned block medical officer. The District Administration Samba has formulated a weekly roaster for random sampling across the District. Deputy Commissioner laid emphasis upon carrying out sampling of shopkeepers, municipal workers, Labourers, Industrial workers and other under service provider sector. "A health card depicting date of sampling, status of medical condition and other bio-medical details shall also be prepared of each individual during the random sampling drive added DC Samba and weekly report be submitted in his office. |
