| Doda admin discusses measures for enforcing compliance to MCC | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, Nov 11: District administration Doda has braced up for strict compliance to the Model Code of Conduct ahead of the District Development Council elections and by-polls for Panchayats.
The Block Development officers, the block level nodal officers for MCC, have been asked to closely monitor the enforcement of guidelines at the Block level (BDOs) and report the violation(s) if any .
Additional District Development Commissioner, Surat Singh, who is also Nodal officer MCC Doda, issued the directions here at a meeting held today.
The meeting was informed that the Model Code of Conduct came into force following issuance of notification for DDC elections by the State Election Commission. He said no violation of MCC will be allowed at any stage of the election process.
ACD, Prem Singh Chib; Dy DEO, Mohammad Idrees Lone, DIO, Mohammad Ashraf Wani besides all BDOs attended the meeting. |
