Two JeM OGWs arrested, incriminating material recovered in Pulwama | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Nov 21: Security forces on Saturday arrested two Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit who were providing logistic support, shelter and transporting of arms and ammunition of militants in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, a police spokesman said. He said on a tip-off security forces arrested two JeM OGWs identified as Bilal Ahmad Chopan-- resident of Wagad Tral and Mursaleen Bashir Sheikh-- resident of Chatlam Pampore. As per the investigations, they were providing logistic support, shelter besides transporting of arms and ammunition of militants in Pampore and Tral area in Pulwama. They were also found involved in passing sensitive information to militants of JeM, he said adding incriminating material have been recovered from their possession. Cases vide FIR numbers 96/2020 and 90/2020 under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station (PS) Tral and PS Pampore respectively. Further investigation into the cases is in progress, he added. |
