Gupkar Alliance’s silence over Ban Toll Plaza encounter raises many eye-brows

Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 21: While as the whole nation is stunned over evil designs of Pakistan to revive terrorism in J&K by exporting arms and terrorists, criminal silence over Gupkar Alliance over Ban Toll Plaza incident has raised many eye-brows.
Leaders of Gupkar Alliance are habitual of reacting on all national and international issues but they did not utter even a single word on the elimination of four terrorists at Ban Toll Plaza in Nagrota area on Thursday morning.
Ban Toll Plaza incident has established that Pakistan is desperately trying to revive terrorism in J&K. Although security forces had foiled an attempt of Pakistan to send terrorists and ammunition in Kashmir Valley to sabotage District Development Councils (DDCs) elections, one thing is clear that Pakistan is trying to encourage bloodshed and destruction in J&K.
The Gupkar Alliance leader claims to be well-wishers of the people of J&K but their silence on Pakistan’s nefarious designs exposed their dubious attitude.
Seriousness of this incident can be gauged from the fact that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a review meeting with top security brass in the wake of the killing of four JeM terrorists.
In the review meeting, Home Minister Amit Shah, NSA Ajit Doval, foreign secretary and top intelligence officials were present as Modi took stock of the situation.
Sources said that the terrorists were planning “something big” on the anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
In his tweets following the meeting, Modi said, “Neutralising of 4 terrorists belonging to Pakistan-based terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed and the presence of large cache of weapons and explosives with them indicate that their efforts to wreak major havoc and destruction have once again been thwarted.”
Hailing the security forces, he said they have once again displayed utmost bravery and professionalism.
“Thanks to their alertness, they have defeated a nefarious plot to target grassroots level democratic exercises in Jammu and Kashmir,” the prime minister added.
