| Filling of M Form is burden for KPs, alleges JKAP leader | | |

Jammu, Nov 24: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party leader Sanjay Dhar today said that Kashmiri Pandits have been facing hectic process of filling of M form to cast their vote in upcoming DDC elections.
The word migrant associated with KPs are not genuine they are persecuted minorities rather than migrants. Earlier, I raised my voice against this hectic process at different platforms and in 2019 parliamentary elections when I was a parliamentary contesting candidate from Anantnag.
At that time this issue were brought into the notice of concern authorities especially, CEO J&K, ECI and Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner Migrants Jammu.
I personally discussed with concern authorities regarding this problem faced by my KP community.
From the said date nothing had been done in this regard and for the secular and democratic rights this process should be changed immediately.
Irony about the situation is this that only a less than 50% KP voters are enrolled in Panchayat electoral which is one of the cause of low voting turn out. Once again I request and appealed to ECI and J&K CEO to resolve this issue soon so that aspirations of KPs will addressed properly once for all. |
