Jammu, Dec 9: Gandhi Global Family J&K in collaboration with Indian Systems of Medicine, J&K Govt, Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh and Green India Foundation today organised 187th Covid-19 Medical cum Awareness Camp at Panjtirthi opposite Billu Mandir, Jammu where AYUSH Immunity Boosting medicines were provided to safai karmacharis and general public through expert team of doctors, following the guidelines issued by the local administration. Deputy Mayor JMC, Adv. Poornima Sharma inaugurated the camp in the presence of Corporator Jagdeesh Sharma, Ward No. 2, Corporator Narotam Sharma, Ward No. 3 Health Officer JMC Dr. Sanjogita Sharma, Police Officer Sh. Vinod Sharma, Sardar Hardeep Singh, Sh.Sameer Bali, Sh.Younis Mattoo,Chairman,Green India Foundation, Mr. Lucky Chidha, President Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh, Sh. Amar Moman, General Secretary, Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh, Smt. Neelam Kumari, Mr.Yashpal Mr.Sahul Nair and dozens of local prominent citizens and traders. Over 410 people were attended by Dr.Sukhpreet Kour, MO and Dr. Shifali Sharma, MO. Earlier, awareness on Covid-19 was also conducted by the team of ISM Doctors. GGF J&K, President Padmashri Dr.S.P.Varma expressed his gratitude to Dr.Mohan Singh, Director ISM, J&K and Dr. Suresh Sharma - ADMO, Jammu for deputing a competent team of doctors and providing free AYUSH medicines for boosting the immunity of safai karamcharis. He was also grateful to both the NGOs for successful conduct of the camp. The camp was dedicated to the living legend of Jammu and an eminent environmentalist Dr.C.M.Seth, Former PCCF, J&K. |
