Mehbooba's publicity stunts not working

jammu, Dec 9: President of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti has been trying to remain relevant by indulging in one or other publicity stunt, but it appears that all her moves are backfiring.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "Since the day Mehbooba has been released from detention she has tried to rake one or other controversy. Soon after her release she spoke about getting Article 370 back and not holding the tricolor till J&K's state flag is returned. Her utterances could have put her in a big trouble but somehow she managed to save her skin."
He said, "One can understand Mehbooba's desperation as she has been left alone by all her close aides. Her party stands shattered. She has taken refuge in National Conference by accepting the NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah as a leader."
An observer said, "Mehbooba and her party have been the biggest losers after August 5, 2019. The change in J&K's status-quo exposed all the Kashmir centric parties and PDP was no exception. But the PDP has suffered the most as it used to tell the people that Azadi and Pakistan are forthcoming. Most of the PDP leaders, including Mehbooba Mufti, used to act as the spokespersons of the separatists."
He said, "The Centre abrogating J&K's special status and bifurcating it into two union territories shattered all the myths and illusions about Kashmir being an issue and its merger with the Union of India being a temporary arrangement. Mehbooba is aware of the fact that her party has lost all the slogans and she has been left with nothing to sell that's why she is raising issues that can keep her relevant."
A politician said, "Mehbooba's controversial statements have pushed other Kashmir centric leaders on back foot. Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD)-an amalgam of Kashmir centric parties, headed by National Conference president Farooq Abdullah-has turned into a one man show as Mehbooba is doing all the talking."
