| Two peddlers nabbed with Heroine in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Dec 9: The Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 385 grams of Heroine from their possession.
Accused have been identified as Mohammad Arif son of Mohammad Ikhlaq Khan resident of Dabbi Balakote in Poonch and Mohammad Asif son of Mohammad Khalil resident of Samattee Challas in Doongi area of Rajouri.
Police said that a team headed by Incharge Police Post Rajouri, SI Danish Maqbool and SHO Rajouri Sameer Jillani under the supervision of DSP Hqrs Rajouri Vinod Kumar were on routine patrolling in Tandwal Thandikassi area of Rajouri highway when two pedestrians moving suspiciously were intercepted.
During their frisking, 385 grams of Heroine like substance was recovered from their possession after which duo were arrested on the spot.
Police informed that a case under relevant sections of law have been registered in police station Rajouri with further investigation to unearth linkages of the two arrested peddlers is going on. |
