| ‘PM Employment package for KP migrant has become joke’ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 13: Announced way back in 2008 the much talked about PM employment package for Kashmiri migrant youth has become a total joke for the community as the authorities since it's announcement have not left any stone unturned to sabotage it in one form or other generating a lot of resentment among the displaced Pandits from Valley.
The package of 6000 jobs has not been delayed as after passage of 12 years only 3000 jobs have been given to community youth in last 30 years but many riders have been imposed on remaining 2000 posts announced by Government recently. The migrants while expressing their dismay over the riders imposed on PM package said that this reveals Government in the heart of hearts is not interested in the implementation of package for Kashmiri migrants. Had it not been so the package of 6000 jobs for Kashmiri migrants announced 12 years back would have been implemented? They while challenging the sincerity of the Government in this regard said that the candidates have been asked to produce migration certificates of year 2020 which is very difficult for them to produce in view of prevailing COVID Pandemic as there is heavy rush in Relief Organisation and employees are unable to tackle the same. |
