Conduct survey of Khoura-Dhardai Road in Banihal, demands Bali | | | Early Times Report BANIHAL, Dec 13: General Secretary Panthers Trade Union, Sewa Singh Bali demanded to conduct immediate survey of the Khoura-Dhardai road stretch in Banihal constituency. He was addressing a press conference in Jammu today. He said that the said stretch near Magarkot NH would cater to 4000-5000 souls living in the area. He said that earlier he had submitted the detailed memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Ramban urging him to initiate the process of survey of the said road under PMGSY. "Till now no action has been taken. The authorities are apathetic to the plight of the road stretch and give no heed to the demand of the people", said Bali. He said despite the road stretch having been enlisted in the proposed roads for left out habitation, the authorities have remained lackadaisical in approach. He warned that if the survey would not start immediately, Panthers party shall be forced to launch an agitation against the government. Ravinder Jamwal, Provincial Secretary JKNPP and Ganesh Dutt were also present in the press conference. |
