Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 13: Celebrating International Human Rights Day, Forum for Human Rights & Social Justice, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), working for the welfare of deprived section of the society today organized a webinar on Human Rights issues titled " Changing Dimensions of Human Rights in J & K Post 370 and 35 A". Dr Dushyanat Gupta Trustee of the organization read out the welcome address and introduced the speakers and participants. The keynote speaker U.K Jalali, Senior Advocate and former Advocate General of J&K highlighted the basic principles of Human Rights with regard to Constitution of India and special focus on Human Rights laws and issues in Jammu and Kashmir before and after abrogation of article 370 and 35 A of Constitution of India. Other speakers who spoke on the occasion included Dr. Anu Mankotia, Karuna Chetri , President All J&K Gorkha Sabha, Jagdish Singh Gen Secretary of West Pak Refugees, Sandhya Dhar Activist for the rights of disables, Eklavya and Abbas Choudhry. A large number of participants from all over India participated in the webinar. |
