Early Times Report
jammu, Dec 31: The BJP has ultimately issued show-cause notice of 'all-powerful' Poonch based party leader who had alleged work round the clock to ensure defeat party candidates on all the District Development Councils (DDCs) seats in the border district. The said leader is blue-eyed boy of some Jammu based senior leaders but it is all due to pressure from dedicated workers of Poonch that party was to issue show cause notice to the said leader.
Reliable sources told Early Times that some senior leaders were not interested to take any action against the said leader but it was all due to threats of some committed workers that party has initiated action against him.
Disciplinary Committee has issued notice to the said leader in which he was asked to clear his position. "It has been reported to Disciplinary Committee Jammu Kashmir Bhartiya Janata Party district president Poonch of party and other senior leaders of district that you have worked against party candidates in recently concluded DDC elections which is serious matter of indiscpline from your side", the notice reads as.
Keeping in view the seriousness of the issue, party has constituted a three-member team to interact with local leaders to get authentic feedback.
As reported earlier by the Early Times, this leader, who is infamous for fulfilling all types of 'desires' of some Jammu based senior leaders, had allegedly supported candidates of 'Gupkar Alliance' to make it sure that party wouldn't open its account in Poonch.
BJP was sure to win at-least two District Development Councils (DDCs) seats from Poonch district but this leader, who never allowed any other workers or leader to grow in the party, ensure defeat of own party candidates to maintain his own dominance in the party.
