| Residents of W No 5 Vijaypur holds protest against PDD | | |

SAMBA, Jan 7: The people of W No 5 in Vijaypur organized a protest rally before the office of SDM, Vijaypur against poor quality of repair work being carried out by the Power Development Department (PDD). The protest was organized under the leadership of ex-MLA and senior Panthers Party leader Yash Paul Kundal. The inhabitants raised slogans against the Power Development Department and said that the department is using sub-standard material in repairing transformers. They alleged that due the poor execution of repair work the transformers are getting burned after every three-four days.
