4G restoration: Good news soon in coming days , LG | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 7: J&K’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Thursday said that there is a committee examining the restoration of 4G services in the remaining districts of the UT and that “there will be good news soon in the coming days.” “I know 4-G is working in just two districts of J&K UT. There is a committee examining the issue. Hopefully, there will be good news soon in the coming days,” he said in reply to a query during a press conference in Jammu. In the last week of December, the Jammu and Kashmir administration extended the ban on high-speed Internet service till January 8, 2021. Mobile Internet services were suspended in Jammu and Kashmir on August 5 last year after Article 370 was abrogated by the Central government. While the 2G services were restored in January 2020, the high-speed Internet continues to remain blocked. |
