Jammu, Jan 7: Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region is continuously making its efforts to create awareness amongst the people of every age group by giving them proper timely First-Aid training so that they can minimize injury and future disability in any disastrous situation. A mixed batch of 8 trainees participated in the 4 days First-Aid Training Programme concluded today on the 7th of Jan, 2021. The highlights of the training revolved around First Aid Kit, Traumas/ Accidents, Transportation of Injured patient, Management of massive bleeding, fracture, Shock, Heart attack, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) etc. The training was given by Dr. Shelly Mahajan (M.D Anesthesia), , IRCS Jammu Region. Mrs. Kanchan Devi, Sr. Pharmacist also assisted. Exam was conducted by Dr. Kavita Nijhon, Medical Officer and Mr. Joginder Kumar, Pharmacist under the close supervision of Sh. Vinod Malhotra, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region.
