Early Times Report RAJOURI, Jan 7: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh, on Thursday convened a meeting to discuss and finalize the arrangements for the celebration of the Republic Day- 2021 in the district. It was informed that the main function shall be held at the District Police Lines, where the chief guest would unfurl the National Flag followed by a march past comprising the contingents of J&K Police, CRPF, NCC cadets and school children. Similar programmes will be organised in other subdivisions of the district. The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned authorities to ensure adequate security arrangements, parking facilities and seating arrangements at the venue, besides ensuring uninterrupted power, water supply and Medicare facilities and cleanliness at the venue. Deputy Commissioner also asked for adhering to the SOPs regarding COVID19 on the scheduled day to avoid the risk of infection. The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandan Kohli, ADC, Sher Singh; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; PO ICDS, Kartar Singh; SE PHE, SR Shukla; ACR, Mohd Ashraf; DSEO, Bilal Rashid Mir; ACD, Sushil Khajuria; CMO, Dr. Shamim Un Nissa Bhatti; DPO, Chander Kant; DYSSO, Mohd Yousif Lone; ARTO, Inzar Rana; District Culture Officer, Dr Alam Dar; ExEn PWD Rajouri, Mohd Zubair; ExEn PDD Rajouri, Munshi Khan and ExEn PHE Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed. besides other district and sectoral officers and representative of paramilitary forces were present in the meeting.
