JAMMU, Jan 28: Jhajjar Kotli Police today foiled smuggling of poppy straw and three persons during Naka at Suketar area.
According to sources a police team from Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspr. Rajesh Khajuria while on Naka duty at Suketar rounded up three suspects Baljinder Singh, Azad Singh and Kulvinder Singh trio resident of Punjab coming on two different vehicles bearing registration no. PB11CR 1065 and PB23J 9408.
"During search, 28 kg 760 gm and 28kg 500 gms of Poppy straw respectively were recovered from their illegal possession. In this regard, two cases FIR No. 12/2021 U/S 8/15/25/29 NDPS Act and FIR No. 13/2021 U/S 8/15/25 NDPS Act got registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli respectively and all the three accused got arrested", the sources said. |
