| Deputy Mayor JMC reviews NBCC work in ward no 1 | | |

JAMMU, Jan 28: Purnima Sharma on the complaints of the locals conducted inspection of NBCC work in ward no. 01.
During the inspection, Deputy Mayor noted that many lanes were in worse condition, also in the lanes where the work has been completed, the tile patches and manholes were made in asymmetry. The bags of rubble of the construction work and stacks of tiles removed were placed on the sides of the lanes since months and were not removed.
The lanes were not properly repaired and were further being damaged due to which the locals were suffering a lot.
After noticing all the nuisance caused by the NBCC in the ward, Purnima Sharma directed the concerned NBCC'S contractor and staff to get all the rubble removed within a week time and also to get the pending work done and without any delay. If anymore inconvenience is caused to the local strict action will be taken against the defaulters, she said. |
