| National painters’ camp concludes | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 31: Three days National painters camp organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu at Magotra Resort, Patni Top concluded on 31st January, 2021. A valedictory ceremony was organized on this occasion. Ramesh Arora, former MLC & senior BJP leader was the chief guest and Bharat Gandhi, Former MLA, Ramban was the guest of honour on this occasion. Ten artists of different states and Union Territories of the country participated in the camp. The camp was curated by O P Sharma, renowned artist & director, Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts, Jammu and Joginder Pal Sharma, senior artist from Sunderbani was the coordinator of the camp. The artists who participatied in the camp included Neena Singh (Pune), Vibha Singh (Noida), Archana Chaudhary (Madhubani), Dr. Mamta Singh (Dehradun), Dharminder Sharma and K S Gill (Amritsar), Dr. A K Dixit, New Delhi, Tariq Saifi (Surankote) and Jang S. Verman, Deepa Soni and O P Sharma (Jammu). Speaking on this occasion Ramesh Arora appreciated the role of O P Sharma and his team for undertaking initiative to work for the cause of promotion and preservation of art, culture and literature in the region. |
