Jammu: Jan 31: Yoga is thrusting as a major health and recreational practice recently. Amidst the lockdown due to COVID-19, Yoga emerged as a major wellness activity to help people recover better. It has a positive effect on our physical and mental health, helps us promoting mindfulness and it is most effective in reducing stress. Recent studies have shown that around 300 million people practice yoga all across the globe. As this modern practice is rooted in Indian tradition over 5000 years, the Ministry of AYUSH launched various certification courses which allow an individual to master this art and take Yoga as an offbeat career. Pavit Kour, founder B.A.S.T.E. has made Jammu proud as she qualifies the 200 hours training programme to become Yoga Protocol Instructor by the Yoga Certification Board under the voluntary certification of yoga professionals, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. She is among the top scorers who have qualified this examination. Before completing this course she has undertaken 200 hours teacher training course at the Yoga Institute.
