Jammu, Jan 31: Aam Aadmi Party meeting was held today to discuss about Detailed Project Report (DPR) for starting of a tramway, mini-train or joy ride from Bikram Chowk to RS Pura as directed by Advisor to Governor, Basheer Ahmed Khan by visiting historic Railway Station Bikram Chowk Jammu. Although Aam Aadmi Party welcomed the decision of the Government as it will give boost to heritage Railway Tourism in Jammu, but also apprised and warned Government not to dislocate the thousands of Sharnarthi Refugee Family of 1947( POK) and local families who permanently settled and built their concrete houses as well as commercial shops etc on the same lines as it had existed since 1947. No doubt Railway Station has a historical and heritage significance and extraordinary efforts should be taken up for its recreation but should not be on the same lines as it had existed otherwise it will create a chaos and disturbances among the thousands of Sharnarthi Refugee Family of 1947 (POK). Before announcing Heritage Railway Station the government must think about the thousands of families who are living there and should be made a plan for the said families and as well as their commercial business. Aam Aadmi Party will not sit silent and come on the roads protest and protect the rights of Refugees1947 and others families who are living there. Those party senior leaders AAP JK present in the meeting were Sewak Singh, Ravi Shastri, Mehar Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Balvinder Singh, Amit langer, Rajesh Bali, Sher Singh, NP Singh, R S Sudan, Naresh Kesar, Amandeep Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Shaadi Lal, Kapildeep Singh Sagar, Narinder Singh Jangi, Jarnail Singh, Liaquat Ali, Prithpal Singh, Charanjeet Singh, Sanjay Thapa, Mula Khan , Des Raj, Dheeraj Sharma, Vipin Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Balram, Santosh Kumar, Goldy Kumar, and other party delegates. |
