Shiv Sena organises free orthopaedic camp | Reputed doctors from Mumbai provide services to dozens | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 31: Continuing its endeavour of serving the society at large, Jammu and Kashmir unit of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray organised a free orthopaedic OPD camp here today, in which dozens of people consulted a team of famous orthopaedic doctors who had come all the way from Mumbai in Maharashtra. The one-day free orthopaedic camp was organised at Shri Gurdwara Saheb Digiana Ashram, Jammu extending the series of initiatives the party takes for social service, Shiv Sena State president Manish Sahni said. Mahant Sardar Manjit Singh Ji was the chief guest on this occasion and dozens of people were examined and treated in the camp, Sahni added. “The camp comes as an extension of Shiv Sena’s mission of social service. More than five dozen people from different parts of Jammu were examined, and treated. Sahni thanked Dr Rahul Sharma, a renowned orthopedic surgeon from Mumbai and his team, who rendered their selfless services to the public in Jammu. “The free orthopaedic consultation and treatment service will continue in future. A free camp will be organised in Shri Gurdwara Saheb on the last day of every month from now on,” Sahni announced. |
