EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 2: Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region is continuously making its efforts to create awareness amongst the people of every age group by giving them proper timely First-Aid training so that they can minimize injury and future disability in any disastrous situation. A mixed batch of 12 trainees participated in the 6 days First-Aid Training Programme concluded today on the 2nd February, 2021. The highlights of the training revolved around First Aid Kit, Traumas/ Accidents, Transportation of Injured patients, Management of massive bleeding, fracture, Shock, Heart attack, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) etc. The training was given by the Sr. Consultants Dr. Shelly Mahajan (M.D Anaesthesia), IRCS Jammu Region. Exam was conducted by Dr. Kavita Nijhon, Medical Officer assisted by Kanchan Devi, Sup, Pharmacist under the close supervision of Vinod Malhotra, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region. |
