| Kabir biradari discuss non representation in political set up | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 2: All J&K Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha today convened a meeting of various members of Bhagat Biradari and discussed the issue of political representation of the Bhagat Samaj which despite being in huge population has always remained aggrieved and deprived in the political setup
On this issue a committee of some prominent personalities of the Bhagat Samaj was constituted who shall examined the political scenario of the J&K UT and give their suggestions and thereafter Biradari will decide its future course of action.
Besides, the issue of reservation in promotion was also discussed and it was unanimously decided that the whole Bhagat Biradari shall take up the matter on a common platform by taking all necessary steps to address the issue before the appropriate authorities.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of president FC Bhagat and was largely attended by the prominent members of the Biradari. It was unanimously decided that this year Kabir Nirvaan Diwas shall be observed at village / panchayat levels. |
