UDHAMPUR, Feb 20: Department of Information & Public Relations(DIPR) Cultural Wing, Jammu, in collaboration with District Information Centre, Udhampur organized a cultural programme based on COVID-19 Do's & Don'ts, here at Jagriti Old Age Home Udhampur. Master Chaaju Ram was the chief guest on the occasion. While addressing the participants, the Chief Guest stressed on the need for sensitizing the people about the Corona virus disease. He appreciated the efforts of Information Department for creating awareness by means of cultural programmes. He added that such awareness generation programmes are the most potent tool for combating COVID-19.
Artists of Cultural wing DIPR Jammu presented theme based scintillating cultural programme and skits which mesmerized the audience.
The DIPR also distributed pamphlets regarding Corona virus protection among the general public.
Senior artists of Information Department, including Yash Kumar, Suresh Sharma, Balbir Singh, Amit Kumar, Rakesh Kumar besides prominent citizens were present on the occasion. |
